I was about to create a new pet after finding a name I liked, but I have quite a few pets now and I felt like I had quite a lot of July birthdays as it is, so I was having a peek in the pound to grab something with a different birthday and realised I had no idea which dates I didn't have. So, I MADE A LIST! And then had some observations...

It turns out I did already have a pet born on July 25th! I actually have 10 pets born in July, which ties with June as my month with the most pet creations.

The month I seem to create the least pets is November - I've only created 1 there, with January being the 2nd least at 3 pets created.

Although I have 69 pets (soon to be 70), I have 6 pets that share a birthday with another pet. I found that very strange!

A pretty even spread as to what part of the month I create pets in, with 22 pets born from 1st - 10th, 21 pets born from 11th - 20th, and 23 pets born from the 21st - 31st.

Just an interesting little information set, I wondered if others would like to share their pet creation habits! (I realise it's a bit skewed because of adopted pets, but I figure I'll let fate play a part)

I found the pet's I actually created are more common in December and February. During my Loyalty box and Survival. However I really have stopped making pets and rename older ones. That a lot of mine are summer babies. OO It's amazing. It's hard to find some days tho. :/

This is a great idea! I have wondered before about pet birthdays but never took the time to look into it - I don't have any sentimental dates attached to any of my pets.

I was actually very surprised by my results. I have 30 pets currently. 12 adopted, 18 created/born. (I used my adoption dates for the adopted pets and my birthdates for the others.)

April is a big month for me. 2 pets were adopted in April and 8 pets were born/created in the same month!I was also surprised to discover that 3 of my pets share the same birthday (April 16th!) Not quite as impressive as your 6(!) ! At present, this means that there's a 1 in 3 chance that my pet was adopted or born in April lmao! And there's a 10% chance of it having it's birthday on April 16th! (My Aries babies!)

Of the 12 adopted pets, 5 were adopted on dates in May - I also have two pets adopted on May 22nd! Despite adopting 5 pets in May, I don't have any pets with original May birthdays!

I also have no pets with dates in February, September or November, so might have to look at adding those birthdays/adoption dates in for future pets.

- oh wow, three on the same day? When I said 6, I mean 6 sets of 2! I phrased that badly. I meant 6 dates on which 2 pets have the same birthday :D And I didn't even think of looking at the adopted date! I've removed a lot of my adopted dates from profiles so it meant taking off the coding to check and I was feeling lazy xD I'm going to have to look at that data now.

I had to go off the coding to check all of mine because their birthday/adoption dates are hidden haha but it is interesting to compare adoption dates (especially if you have a lot of adopted pets!)

Whatever month it is when we get more pet slots

I seem to create/adopt pets more often in the months between January to early June. A lot of them in February and May for some reason. But then I also have quite a few from August too.

before i took stock i would've said i have a lot of holiday babies and that's true (two each for halloween and valentine's, and a christmas and a veteran's day) but it looks like peak pet creation is mid-june for me? i have seven june birthdays, with five of them in the same year and four of those on the same day, lmao. i have a handful of june adoptions too, i think.

I have 11 summer babies, 4 Christmas/New years break babies and a spattering of birthdates in between.

I tend to just make a pet if the mood strikes, I have so many free slots open that depending on my mood... I never thought much of it though. Time to look through my pets. Several where adopted.

Well it looks like July is a clear winner, then again most pets I adopted seem to have been created this month. Lol how... interesting.

I hope there are easier way to check the creation date since I hide it on a lot pet profiles. I don't think there'd be a pattern since I create pets mostly depending on when a name I like will be open. But I guess there'd be a somewhat spike in the month of pet slot release though (since we all go and grab the names that we can sorta live without, but would rather own given the chance of more pet slots).

It is interesting to see which pets are created the most. Here are my results:

Mine is pretty uneven with December being the most popular month and the next being January. December was a popular month because of a mixture of things. For most of my time on subeta, I had been at two different boarding schools for sometime (one of them managed to block subeta as it was very block-happy) and the other was that GAs were the only way I could get more pets. As I couldn't really access the site in term-time, I only had thorough thought on pets in the holiday time and December was the easiest for me to do so (as well as my loyalty box comes on October so it was closer!). May isn't at all a great month for me because of exams and deadlines throughout the years! xD

I have 66 pets, but I only included 62 because a few are being held for other people.

July and September are the busiest months for me, with January, April, and August tied for third place. February is the quietest month with only one pet created.

About half of my pets were adopted and therefore not created by me, but 26/68 pets were born in either October or November- guess when my loyalty box comes up? :P the rest are mostly summer babies. Seems I tend to have a little down period between January - May as far as creating/adopting.

June is a clear winner for me I guess, moreso this year though. I tend to start to dislike names and go for others similar names that seem better to me (I made Misanthropist in August 2014, but liked Misanthrope better and snatched it as soon as I saw it was available, which was June 15th). I may end up being unhappy with others.

Also I could've sworn I made Poymath and Kindly, I think I did, I may have changed my mind on the name, and then changed my mind again (happened with Strives, I used to have that name years ago).

I'm indecisive with names sometimes, lol.

I finally figured out how to find a pet's birthdate if I had a comissioned profile that doesn't show their birthday, so ok now I can participate in this.

The below information is taken from their birthday. However, if a pet was adopted, I used their adoption date instead. (With the exception of one pet. The only reason she has an adoption date is because I transferred her a friend to change her into a Bhakoru for me...and she's no longer a Bhakoru lol). January: 1 February: none March: 2 April: none May: none June: 4 July: 11 August: none September: 2 October: none November: 1 December: 3

So 11/24 of my pets have July birthdays lol. Granted, I get my loyalty box at the end of June so that may be an influence. That, and a lot of my pets are from name clearings so that may also be why. Surprised I don't have an October baby though since that's one of my favorite months. I may need to change that.

Also, one of my pets have a Christmas birthday and two of my pets have a 4th of July birthday.

April, which make since as that's when I get my loyalty box.

April- 4 created 3 adopted in this month. Kira and Malcolm share the same birthday on the 20th. Llyn, Heylel, and Iyasu share the same adoption date of the 20th. Not surprising as the 20th is my join date.

August- 4 created 2 adopted in this month. Heylel was created in this month.

I actually have two sets of three pets that share the same birthdays. In the same year as well.

February 29th 2016: Guiliano, Elis, and Upon June 12th 2007: Macedonia, Dierdre, and Son Goku (I should point out that I created Macedonia but I dropped him in the AC when I tried to snag a name that cleared. I didn't realize at that time the name cleared a day early. I quickly picked him back up. This is why he has a different adoption date.)

Now, where does the date glitched pets fit in? The December 31st, 1969 ones? I have one I adopted back in February this year.

Mine isn't really accurate because I like old IDs and thus change a lot of names but I feel like I create the most pets in late Fall/early Winter and in late Spring, so it's probably not too far off? It was interesting going through them anyway.

I have 78 pets and two being held for me, so I counted them too.
